African Wax was established in 2003 to service the candle machine industry.
The original company, Eve's Industries, established in 1998, manufactures candle making machinery, from which candle making was a natural progression.

African Wax has specialized in the manufacture of finest quality machine & hand made candles. The materials are carefully sourced from Europe, America & South Africa. The waxes are blended to give the best burning, and the dyes used are fade resistant.
Each hand painted candle is unique and crafted to a set design. (See our catalogue on the “download” tab for details.)

Hand Decorated Unity Candles are often incorporated into the wedding ceremony, as this represents the coming together of the two families. These can either be candles with pictures or verses printed onto candles, or hand engraved candles. Include loved ones who have passed away with a memorial candle at your wedding ceremony.

Wedding Invitations, Menu’s, Programme, Table Numbers: These candles are multipurpose; all are personalized and are placed on the tables. They serve as décor as well as create the ideal ambiance for your wedding day.

Thank you gifts or bonbonerie: A personalized thank you message can be printed onto candles, boxed, and given away as a gift to the guests.

Candles of all sizes for the main table, Chapel candles are available, with heights up to almost 100cm are available.
